Moto G5, and G5 Plus Leak

According to the leak, both the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p resolution display, identical to the G4 and G4 Plus. The chipset under the hood remains a mystery though, as the leak only reveals the two handsets will be powered by an octa-core chipset. In terms of storage, the Moto G5 will apparently include 16GB of internal memory, while the Moto G5 Plus will be offered in 16GB and 32GB capacities. In the camera department, the Moto G5 will feature a 13MP camera at the back and a 5MP camera on the front, while the G5 Plus is said to include a higher resolution 16MP sensor at the rear and the same 5MP unit for selfies. Out of the two handsets, the Moto G5 Plus will be the one to get a fingerprint scanner, the standard G5 will not.

Even as Motorola gears for the launch of the Moto M smartphone in India, images of two new Moto G devices – Moto G5 and G5 Plus have surfaced on the web. A report by AndroidSoul has unveiled the alleged images of the devices, along with a specs table revealing some details. The report also mentions that the devices will be unveiled on March 8.

The company had launched the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India back in May. Both phones feature similar specifications: 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, 1.5GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC with an Adreno 405 GPU, 3,000 mAh battery and a 5MP front camera.
